Dana Caballero, LCSW

I have a Master’s degree in Social Work and have been in practice for several decades. In addition to direct practice, I also teach at the graduate level. Maintaining a practice while teaching has provided me with a unique niche of having decades of experience in the field while immersing myself in current research and new developments in practice. I have loved being able to give back to newer professionals and keep my skills current at the same time.

Wherever you go, there you are

The cutting edge of our field is medical technology which is informing professionals about brain growth and development. I love adding in some information on how neurobiology relates to behavioral health issues.

Stress and anxiety can leave you feeling like you are crawling out of your own skin, but the good news is there are very effective ways to treat those symptoms. Why spend one more day trying to “white knuckle it” through the day? You deserve more.

Finding your way

Life is full of transitions and surprises we did not ask for. When life has you feeling like you have lost your bearings or you ended up in a spot you could have never imagined, it can be the perfect time to get on board with a therapist. If you have difficulty looking with hopefulness at what lies ahead, make room in all this transition to find your compass.

Parenting

Many kids, teens and college students are dealing with stress, depression, anxiety and challenges like ADHD or social isolation.

I’m committed to helping families create easier ways to talk about what is happening. As parents, we may feel like we are going above and beyond, and falling short all at the same time.

What if dealing with a current struggle led your family to a better place? Let’s help kids and teens launch into their next chapter as problem solvers who can talk about the ups and downs of life with those that are rooting for them.

Get started, today.
